Social Personnel: 2022 highlights

It’s been a great year for Social Personnel and as always, we’re full of pride that so many of our candidates are able to help make a difference in local communities. So without further ado, here’s our Social Personnel 2022 highlights…

Social highlights

What’s work without a little play? Here’s a recap of some of the exciting events we’ve attended over the course of the year.

Annual boat party

On July 22, Social Personnel hosted its annual boat party which offers the social carers, healthcare staff and clients that we work with the chance to let their hair down and celebrate all their hard work. It was a brilliant turnout too, with over 300 social workers in attendance.

With the event having been disrupted by the pandemic for two years running, there was even more cause for celebration when we were finally allowed to get together again!

Not only is the boat party a little ‘thank you’ to all our fantastic candidates and clients, but it also provides the opportunity for everyone to network and meet like-minded professionals in the industry.

As always, we had a lovely evening cruising down the River Thames spent drinking, dancing (and eating) the night away and look forward to doing it all again in 2023!

Sports day

The Social Personnel team dusted down their fitness gear and decided it was time to get competitive this summer. We are of course talking about our annual sports day event which took place at Horndon Cricket Club on August 19.

From space hoppers, bungee runs and rounders, to taming mechanical bulls and using Squid Game tactics to win tug of war, it’s safe to say it was a pretty eventful day.

Christmas party

To round off the year, we celebrated Christmas early on December 3 at the iconic Tobacco Docks. Everyone dressed to impress for this classy black tie event, where we all indulged in an evening of fine wine and fine dining (the dancing on the other hand, was not so fine!).

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves – we hope your Christmas parties were just as fun and you also got to spend quality time with your fellow colleagues!

We hope you enjoyed our version of Spotify wrapped…do get in touch if you are looking for a new role in the new year. Our dedicated team is here to help over the festive season, so just give us a call on 0203 8929 340.
