‘Made with Care’ campaign to boost adult social care workforce

The government has relaunched its ‘Made with Care’ campaign for the third year running in an attempt to boost the adult social care workforce.

It highlights the variety of opportunities available and incentivises people to apply for a career in adult social care.

Campaign advertising will be shown across major channels including ITV Hub, Sky Go and All 4 until March 2023 – as well as via Spotify and social media platforms.

Job seekers are encouraged to check out the Adult Social Care website for further insight into the latest opportunities in adult social care. They will also have access to free career advice and CV support.

Minister for Care, Helen Whately, said: “Our care system depends on dedicated care workers who make a difference to the lives of so many people in need of support.

“This campaign helps build that vital workforce.

“I encourage anyone considering the next step in their career, whether just starting out or thinking of their next move, to go online and explore the wide range of opportunities in the care sector.”

Health and Social Care Secretary Steve Barclay added:

“Working in social care is rewarding, inspiring and provides career opportunities with a range of roles you may have never considered.

“To get started, you just need to have the right qualities including kindness and compassion to support people’s loved ones and make a difference.

“This government is committed to a sustainable social care sector and anyone can play a part by joining this incredible workforce.”
