When we wrote about our slow return to the offices back in July, we didn’t think we’d be writing another update from home with the whole team back working remotely….yet here we are.
During a time where we all feel rather uncertain, and maybe even uneasy, we have tried our best to keep things as “normal” as possible when it comes to life at SP for our workers. We’ve been on the end of the phone as a listening ear, we’ve run a weekly giveaway as part of our #ThankYouSocialCare campaign, and most recently, we have hosted CPD sessions to make sure everyone was prepared for the Social Work England re-registration.
Despite us all still getting used to running training virtually, and a few connection issues, all 4 sessions have received great feedback and proved to be very useful for all participants. We are looking at the best way to move forward with making these a regular feature throughout the year in 2021.
However, 2020 is not yet over! And we’ve managed to sneak in one last bonus session with the brilliant Dr Jenny Molloy. Jenny ran a session for us at the beginning of the first lockdown and it was so well received, we have teamed up with her again.
