Leaving Care Team Manager – Dorset

Social Personnel are looking for an experienced manager who has worked in a Local Authority as part of a leaving care team. The Team manager role we are recruiting for is based in Dorset within their Leaving Care Service and they are paying £41p/h.

Duties:

• Experience of managing a team of social workers in children’s social care
• Knowledge of Leaving Care legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of the support required for unaccompanied asylum seekers – ideally a passion for this area of work
• Skilled at supporting staff through difficult and unexpected change
• Skilled at motivating and developing social workers in their practical setting and has experience of:
• Experience of managing a team of social workers in children’s social care
• Knowledge of Leaving Care legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of the support required for unaccompanied asylum seekers – ideally a passion for this area of work
• Skilled at supporting staff through difficult and unexpected change
• Skilled at motivating and developing social workers in their practice

What you need:

• Post qualifying Experience
• A minimum of 2 years experience in child-based teams as a manager.
• Right to work in the UK.
