Support Worker – Virginia Water – Young adults – Permanent

We’re looking for Support Workers to work with us in Virginia Water supporting young adults who have complex needs with their independent living skills.

 The people we support attend a range of activities and enjoy various days out including going to the cinema, attending day centres, going on holiday, day trips, canoeing and rock climbing for example and so this role would suit someone looking to enjoy a range of active and various activities.

As a Support Worker you will;

  • Accompany the people we support to activities, appointments etc.
  • Assisting with day to day living tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential
  • Personal Care (e.g. using the toilet, bathing)

 

Work full time covering split shifts  throughout the day and evenings and nights spread across the week, weekends and Bank holidays usually 7am-10am, 3pm-8/9pm and 8:45pm-7:15am; subject to change. Shifts are on a rota basis so you will know in advance to plan your time accordingly.

 Our pay is £17,732 per annum (pro rata) + mileage + benefits.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential that successful applicants hold a full valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

This client is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life and live as independently as possible in their own homes.
