Social Personnel are looking for a Social Worker to join the Disabled Children’s 0 – 25 Team in Kent!

Duties;

• Demonstrate an ability to engage with children, young people, their families and carers coupled with the integrity to work within a confidential, professional environment.
• You will be provided with support and opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skills further with regular supervision.
• Must be able to produce a good standard of report writing and maintain accurate, comprehensive written records. Excellent organisational skills, communication and IT skills are also essential.
• Provide and ensure the availability of adequate advocacy arrangements to assist service users towards self-determination of their personal assistance arrangements.
• Research and maintain a knowledge base of what resources are available in the local community in order to inform decision making on service users’ care packages.
