Social Worker – Criminal Exploitation – Fixed Term Contract – Southend on Sea
Social Personnel are deligted to be working with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council on the recruitment of a Social Worker for their Criminal Exploitation Team, on a fixed term contract initially.

Your new role
Southend Council are looking for a full time social worker for a fixed-term position until Sept 2021 working within the remit of Criminal Exploitation.
The worker will be working alongside The Childrens Service with children/ young adults from ages 17 ½ -25 years old considered vulnerable and at risk of Criminal Exploitation as they move from a transitional phase from children’s service to becoming adults and trying to reduce risks of vulnerability during this time.
You will also need experience of working with Adults to fulfil Safeguarding and other preventative support whilst providing a person centred approach to those people at risk of/ or who are being cuckkood , whilst also working to support those who are victims of Modern Slavery .
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must be registered with Social Work England and be at least 2 years post qualified as a social worker. You must have experience of working with 17 – 25 year old adults, have knowledge of statutory responsibilities and experience of criminal exploitation
