Social Personnel are delighted to be working with Wandsworth Borough Council to recruit a Senior Social Worker for their Children Looked After Service to help play a central role in achieving positive outcomes for children between the age of 0-18 years old.

About the team

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly social work team led by engaging and supportive senior managers who are striving to continue improving and developing the service. Close supervision is provided to help support our social workers drive forward children’s care plans.

About the role

You will work on mixed and complex caseloads with children aged 0-18.  The role will give you the latitude to help improve the outcomes of children and young people in care by supporting them to build a stable future.  As they look to strengthen the service provided to unaccompanied children, maintain our commitment to Permanency Planning and collaboration with children’s professional nets, the family, the successful applicants will bring together these principles and help drive change, continuity and stability.
