Senior Social Worker – CAMHS – Surrey

Our client, Surrey is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their CAMHS Team

What the role entails:

  • In this role you will be supporting and protecting children and young people with mental health difficulties, including supporting their placements and Foster Carers by offering a range of interventions including:
  • Consultation
  • Reflection
  • Joint case working
  • Participation in case reviews
  • Assessment of need
  • Mental health assessments
  • Care planning and intervention if appropriate in the community or supporting referrals to 3Cs for specialist support within CAMHS
  • Direct work and support to foster carers
  • You will also be attending statutory meetings in relation to cases where your involvement would be beneficial.
  • You will use your excellent communication and engagement skills to ensure that the CAMHS Social Work service operates in a safe and efficient way, as part of the whole system of partnership and multi-agency working.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SW England registered
  • Must have completed ASYE
