Our client, Luton is seeking a Consultant Practitioner to join their Specialist DoLS/LPS Team

What the role entails:

  • Maintain and develop an up to date knowledge and understanding in 5 respect of legislation, guidance and research in the areas of safeguarding adults, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty safeguards to inform decision making and practice, ensuring that local policies and procedures are in keeping with the legislative framework and government guidance, assisting staff to develop skills and expertise in specialist practice.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints made to the Adult Safeguarding 5 Team, as designated by the Safeguarding Team Manager, ensuring lessons learned are embedded in practice by informing policy and procedure updates and revision of audit processes.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SW England registered
  • Must have completed ASYE
