Assistant Service Manager
£23,000 per annum + benefits

We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Margate to manage the staff for this service.
There are 3 service users who have complex needs. In addition all service users have mobility issues, use wheel chairs and require 2:1 support with over head hoists for all transfers. All 3 have profound learning disabilities. They all require support with communication in their own format. They all require high personal care support. In addition they require support with eating and drinking, one of whom is supported by the SALT team regarding Dysphagia, and one who has a PEG in situ.
In this role you will work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements. Acting as a role model in the delivery of active support, you will promote and maintain person-centred approaches and inclusive community links. You will be expected to attend appointments with the people we support, attend care reviews, review and update care plans and risk assessments, record and monitor daily logs, lead shifts, administer medication, and cover the rota where necessary.
