Social Personnel are looking for a Senior Practitioner / Practice Manager to join a Adult Community Mental Health Service in Southend.


  • The purpose of this role will be to provide professional and comprehensive social care casework to a caseload of individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties, some of which will be complex and sensitive cases all will require the highest of professional standards and in depth knowledge of relevant legislation and practice methods.
  • You will also be required to undertake practice and professional Lead responsibility for a specified area of Social Care in the day to day running of the team including supervision of identified team members. The successful candidate will need to use a strengths-based approach to social work practice and will work closely with all partners across Health and Social Care to ensure that there is effective coordination of interdependences including the management of and resolution of risks and other issues that may arise.

What you need:

  • Have post-qualified experience
  • Be eligible to work in the U.K.
  • HCPC registered and have a DBS.
  • Experience in Adult Mental Health
  • Srong Management Skills
  • Completed ASYE
  • Previous Manager expeience is desireable
