On the 25th and 26th of September our Commercial Director Chris Griffin attended that annual Community Care Live Conference in North London. As I am sure you all know, this event is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues, attend seminars (vital to CPD and HCPC renewal) and see what permanent opportunities are out there in the market. This year there was a great atmosphere with less recruitment agencies and more local authorities, we even had a Local Authority from the Highlands of Scotland come and join us to see if they could tempt English social workers north of the boarder.
There were a number of authorities exhibiting that had some really exciting permanent packages on offer. We are working with these London Boroughs to find and engage with good quality social workers and we are confident that we can find the right role for you… whether you are looking for flexibility to work from home, an annual retention bonus or just better progression and training. This got us thinking about how we can help our working locums, and with HCPC renewals happening right now, we thought we would be able to offer an incentive. If you are working with us (either in an assignment or trying to find one with us) and you refer us an experienced social worker we will pay for your £180 HCPC renewal fee and pay you a £250 referral fee on top of this!
We think that this is a great way for us to recognise the hard work of our locum staff and to ensure that we try to ease the financial burden or re-registration.
