After a few years of fast paced growth, last year we really cemented ourselves in the market as a top provider of temporary, permanent and interim staff in the public sector. We are no longer the new kids on the block and are continuing to push forward, leveraging technology to provide innovative staffing solutions at a time when the demand is high and cost savings essential.
We have forged stronger client relationships, attracting real top talent on the candidate side, and had some excellent internal additions to the team, bolstering our ability to provide a quality service. We have a solid structure, people have found their place in the company and have a clear path – from our senior management team, to our sales team (who are some of the best in the country) and our back-office operations teams, who have formalised and are more slick and proficient than ever. The SP team is now a force to be reckoned with.
Don’t worry though, whilst such growth brings about more formal corporate culture, we have remained the very fun and social company we have always been. We rocked the boat for the 2nd time in bigger and better style, and celebrated our 5th birthday in the process too. This is always a highlight of the year for us, to stand amongst our incredible work force and loyal clients, to thank them for helping us to achieve all we have, and celebrate with them is a great feeling – and seeing 150 social workers all doing the Candy dance really is a sight to behold!
We were lucky enough to be shortlisted for three Recruiter Awards this year, and some of the team enjoyed an evening at Grosvenor Hotel. Unfortunately, it wasn’t our year, but it was great to spend the evening celebrating our often-underrated industry and hear of all the brilliant work going on across the country. This year, we plan to continue the good work we are doing.
As a company, we are now established on a very strong foundation and intend to keep building upwards, ensuring we can support the public sector not just as a supplier, but as a partner.
